Two additions today, both courtesy of board members.

1/72 Airfix Jetstream (  :wub: ) kindly sent by Aircav
1/48 Monogram F-5E, trade with IHG
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Revell Finland, 1/72, Hurricane, Buffalo, Hawk 75 (special Finnish issue)
MPM, 1/72, DC.2, Blenhiem 1
Special Hobby, 1/72, Pembroke
AZ. Model, 1/72, Pyry x2 (a neat lil kit, iv taken lots of ref photos too for deatail at the museum!)
Hasegawa, 1/72, Buffalo, Morane 406 (Finnish markings issue)

as well as too many books and 2 full digi camera chips, im sure it is gonna be fun getting it all back home..ouch

Not that it really matters, but these little guys are still sealed in the original cellophane, so they're like an X-mas present from 1977.   ;D

Look it was the first decent meal at the end of a very long day, as i had been modelling  and packing till 2am, up at 6am to pick Rob up in Preston and drive down to Telford in freezing fog to have a look at Cosford before going to start set up duties at SMW at lunchtime, apart from a bacon sarny at Robs at 7am the evening meal at the brewers farye was the only meal of the day  :huh:

it sure did yesterday thanks to coventry's branch o' antics....

RoG 1/72 catalina IIA [reissue] i'm thinking of turboproping it and turning it into a 1960's USN MR bird,  ;D
RoG 1/72 blohm und voss Bv p194 [suggestions please and preferably african..... or mid east modern AF FAC bird]
airfix 1/76 RAF recovery set. the queen mary tractor unit and trailer are for the RAF 100 build. the coles crane.....  :tank: SOF  :tank:

and also some modelling sundries. two bottle of RoG paintaclean and some swan morton #21 blades and a bottle
of liquid poly cement.

back on task now!

the bacon buttie transformed into a coronation  lamb and mint sauce  and salad doorstopper sarnie, with sweet black coffee, some fruit pastiles, chocolate flapjack, monstermunch is lunch and i is a happier man.

Dropped into Hobbycraft for some paint and picked up an Airfix Gnat for the Stafford WHITE collection and it's crap and a pale shadow of the original release. :unsure:Where's the rockets and fuel tanks?
The decal sheet is in register though :wacko:

thought u only got the tanks in the Matchbox Gnat terry.

the original release of the Airfix Folland Gnat in its silver and dayglo scheme had tanks and rockets underwing, both deleted for the Red Arrows release
