A few things were waiting from the ebay fairy when I got home today:

1/24 MPC AV-8A/GR.1-described in the ad as in bad shape with a cracked fuselage and possibly missing parts but it was cheap.  So far it looks like it's all there and the cracks are very minor.  This thing is HUGE though, dunno what I'll do with it...

1/48 AMT S-3 Viking-started with the fuselage glued and wheel/weapons bays painted, nicely done though.
1/48 Monogram A-37-also started, but just the cockpit partially painted.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

A couple 1/48 goodies off ebay, isracast F-16I conversion and Daco orpehus recce pod.  If I can find a 1/48 mitsubishi F-2B, that conversion set is going to be "cloned" and I'm tempted to put the Orpheus pod on a NATO-standard export second-generation Harrier.

G'day Gang,

Took the plunge and picked up Hobby Boss' 72nd scale N/AW A-10.  Great quality, no stores, whif material extraordinaire.  I've knocked up a review on SMAKR: http://www.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/portland/971/home.htm that will hopefully go online in the near future as Mark is away at the mo.

Regards,

Mav

From ebay: Italieri MiG 37B Ferret E in 1/72nd. No particular plan for it, but it was cheap and I remember building the 1/48th version back in the day......
