Below is a shot of the "box art" so not only do I have a kit that takes me back to my boyhood but something really cool to hang on the wall to boot. Baz, you're the best

Today I picked up the Hase 1/72 US Aerospace Ground Equipment Set, and more importantly reserved two of the three Nimrod my LHS owner is expecting next week!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Picked up a Fujimi 1/72 F-4M Phantom off EB and for only £15 too  ;D

Well, nobody told me that a monarchy has to have crown jewels...

Honestly though, they looked heavy, all the way down there in the probably nuclear blast proof bunker underneath a castle. And teasing the soldiers gaurding the castle was fun!

Arrived a few moments ago from echo-bravo:

1/72 Monogram P-36

The classic P-36 kit!

I have plans for this beauty.

Of course, it won't look like the picture on the box when I'm done with it. :banghead:

The postie has just delivered:

2 x HobbyBoss 1/72nd F-86F-30 Sabres....these will be real USAF along all the others I've got..."fousands of 'em!!"
2 x 1/72nd HobbyBoss F-86F-40 Sabres.....these with the later extended wing (as designed for the Japanese Sabres, and adopted for retro-fit to USAF sabres and exports) will be an occasional USAF one where appropriate, including a Whatif one in USAF ANG markings in SEAsia colours, and several whatif Sabres...possibly in "proper" export markings, but eronious colour schemes.
My thoughts are:
Southern Rhodesia
Zimbabwe
RAF
Oman
Chile
Israel
Iraq

Also, a Pegasus Hobbies 1/48th Hurricane I. This is an "easy build" snap together kit that is closely based on the Hasegawa kit. Some details are compromised...the entire cockpit interior is 3 pieces and the u/c and doors are moulded as one. But it looks terrific. I shall enjoy entering this in the now FREE IPMS(UK) ScaleModelWorld 08 at Telford in November painted in Crusader colours....the Standard Kit Rules mean so long as it's built with no additions other than seatbelts and aerial wires, the colour scheme/markings are open to anything. He, he, he, he ;D

Collected the Buccaneer pitot today, all 6ft 9 inches of it, plus a 3ft x 2ft Hemp paint chip, ie a Nimrod panel from one of the AEW versions so I can now tell you if your Nimrods are in the wrong shade of Hemp  ;D
Arranged to meet the chap I bought them off at Doncaster Aeroventure and while there bought a Hobbyboss 1/48 two-seat A-10 as well

Came in the mail today:

Off echo-bravo, a KP 1/72 Skoda D.1 fighter

and

from the amazingly generous HOG:

A microwave-safe container holding what I believe is every spare part in 1/72 or smaller he ever owned. HOG, thank you! You're fantastic, and that microwave-safe dish will come in handy for re-heats!
