the newish RoG repop of italeri's F/A-18C with all the bits. it comes with the 2007 CAF CF-188 demo scheme and
some swiss AF decals.

You know Trevor, I'm not sure why RoG used the 'C' version to do the CF-188, as far as I know all that the CAF uses are 'A' & 'B', although these are all highly upgraded now.

Also got a 1/76 Comet as well today, along with a couple of paints. This one will be OOB as I don't really wiff tanks and armoured stuff. Should I be admitting that here??? :o :o

A Finnish "Comet" would look nice, or how about a multi-toned "Free Polish" one?

Kawasaki Ki-28 in fictional China theatre markings. They also do the prototype

Brian you'll love then as they both have spats/trousers

Airfix 1/72nd Viggen.

I first built this in 196?, and then again in 1973 while relaxing before my uni finals :banghead:

A real nostalgia trip...it'll be USMC in WW2 colours

I'm green with envy! I hope you'll post pics of these once you get them built. :)

Anigrand 1/144 XB-35. Have I'm minded to do this as RAF but do I do it in WWII Bomber Command scheme, MSG/Black scheme or anti flash white ?

WWII would look great Chris, but where would you put the codes?

XB-35.....

many years ago hartup did a WHITE B-35 (also a WHITE B-49), both flying!

I reckon WW2 colours would be terrific, and for the codes, why not "grouped" on the inner-wing surfaces in dull red.....ie something like "R2-D"....upper port, lower starboard? Perhaps with the yellow outline too??
Who does WW2 Lancaster/Halifax, etc., decals in 1/144th??

Cool....looking forward to this.
I LOVE  :wub:the WW2 Bomber scheme....it's going on my Connie. awaiting the Green and Brown...already primed in Black , on a pole. got the decals too

The outer nacelles could take smaller codes.  Immediate post war Vampires had small codes like these on the nose.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
