Modelzone Special - Revell A-26 Invader for half price £6-99  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

All 1/72nd:

2 x SMER (Heller) MS 225....one to be RAF, another German WW1. Crackin kits, but have some flash on the mouldings which being from Heller's prime, are terrific.
2 x Airfix Gladiators......one to be French, the other???? The French one will be in that WW1 colour of yellowish bleached linen/dope, with darker yellow metal painted bits. I feel like doing this SOON. decals from the SMER MS225 which are super (2 French options) printed by Propagteam.
2 x Revell Fokker Dr.1s....ah, Biggles
6 x Revell Fokker D.VIIs....ah Biggles, 2-seat Soviet, and lots of others.
1 x Academy Sopwith Camel
1 x Strelets German WW1 Uhlan Cavalry...for when they charge Biggles in a particular scene
1 x WW1 pilots...could look OK after cleanup.....various poses too.

Once you've visited the land of the Loonies, a return is never far away.....

Spotted that Eduard do a set of WWI RFC figures in 1/72 as well as 1/48th, which may help with your Biggles ideas

Cheers, Geoff.
I noticed that and they're on the "to buy" list.

The Airfix Gladiator is part assembled after extensive, masachistic clean-up. The fuselage halves are different lengths, the wings need a lot of sanding which removes any detail (and possible accuracy) and the underwing guns are farcical....I scraped/sanded off the barrels....the humps will be pylons for bombs.
It really is poor, but I just LOVE IT as it'll be great in WWI schemes...German, French, RFC etc.
And then there's sesquiplanes too.
BUT...REVELL, please re-issue the Matchbox beauty!

I have 3 Airfix Gladiators, but surprisingly WILL BUY MORE as they're fun in a purely strange way.
Compared to a £4 HobbyBoss kit, or £4 SMER kit, they're terrible.
BUT HANNANTS HAVE SOLD OUT.
There must be a lot (like me) on a nostalgia trip.
I built the Airfix Gladiator back around 1960. Gods I'm old

Another Hasegawa "special edition" A 4 B Skyhawk.....................I promise I will build it...............................................eventually

WAIT A MINUTE

I've been to your lair recently and IMHO you've got enuff A-4's to start a breeding colony - what's wrong with you...... No scratch that I KNOW what's wrong with you, and using that old "mid-life crisis" excuse isn't going to work this time..... why haven't you bought an inpractical sports car like the rest of us, instead of multiple Hasegawa Skyhawks.....

Ian
(tutting loudley and rolling his eyes )

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
