I had that 262 kit and the fuselage just doesn't want to go together, the problem being that they retooled the Heller two seater and kept the tub.  Replace it with one from a Revell kit or alternately, try convering it to the Schnellbomber variant with the cockpit in the nose.  he rest of the kit is fine.

The builder in the review I was reading simply cut the back half of the tub off: the "ragged end" is invisible under the rear canopy deck anyway.....

Alternatively, just leave the tub out altogether and stick a tarpaulin over the cockpit!

Or do a factory-floor diorama, with the fitters looking at the single hole and two-place tub and the engineers sctaching their heads over the blueprints....... ;D

The last batch of my recent ebay madness arrived today.  Six of the kits were from a local seller, and I had planned to pick them up, but other things got in the way, so he offered to ship all 6 for $6.  Nice change from the people who want $15 shipping to send a tiny box by regular mail!!

Anyway, today I got:

Airfix 1/48 Buccaneer

from the local seller, all sealed except for the Apache:

Airfix 1/72 Chipmunk
Emhar 1/72 MiG-3
Academy 1/72 P-47D
Tamiya 1/72 Mosquito NF.XIII
Tamiya 1/72 F4D Skyray
Monogram 1/48 AH-64

all 6 for under $20!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Arghghgh! Who was selling RHVP kits at 50% off?  Would like their U-35 Learjet....

Anyway, I just received the Dr Pepper Resins Barak conversion for the Tamiya 1/48 F-16.  Now all I need is the kit and the decals....... (I won it in a raffle on ARC for my XF-2A model).

hmm, do you think you could get this thru the state house never mind the reps' or the senate, AD? ;)

thanks for the smile the idea has given me......  ;D ;D ;D ;D
