I seem to remember passing that place a few years ago, but it was closed.  Looked like a nice little shop.

Anyhoo, for Father's Day I got a couple of models;

1/48 Revellogram F-101 (Monogram at it's best from the looks of it!)
1/72 Hasegawa Mossie FB.VI 'Asian Theater' (nice little kit, and more SEAC roundels that may be handy for the Profiles GB)
1/200 Hasegawa MD-90 (to be one of two bought on the used market at a good price as RAF Queens Flight/32Sqn executive transports)
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Packed full of gems, loads of old Matchbox and Airfix goodies.

The visit to the shop was then followed by the best fish and chips I've had in ages from a local chippie

hmm, AD that is a good idea! gives me an idea for a PAG HS-125 [matchbox] rather than a PAG jetstar.

still have to dash, things to do and hope you enjoyed your trip to the motherland! :) coming over again?

Hoping for a few days at the end of July.  We have a relative who now lives on the sea front in Sunderland, so I'm hoping to get over for the airshow.  July is a really quiet month at work, so I'm hoping we can get over for 4-5 days.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

I got an Airfix Harrier GR.5 from Aircav today. 1/72 as usual.

Thanks Aircav  Will be a Luftwaffe/West German machine

I got a A Model Aero 45 and a Yak-17 UTI.

I want to Whif the Aero 45 - Maybe as a light ground attack/FO airplane or as a recon plane - a cheap version of the Dinah.

I finally got one! A bubble canopy and spats and possibly a new engine are in its future.

Oh, and the "s" word, too...

Mine turned up the next day as well. Impressive speed for once. Shame that ParcelFarce have charged me £13.50 for the pleasure of paying £9.31 VAT on an order from Hobbylink Japan. :banghead:

Thanks again Aircav - you're a gent.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Thats odd about HLJ, I've had quite a few things off them with no problems.
