Box of interesting bombs, rocket and missiles showed up earlier this week, traded with B777LR for a RJ decal sheet.

Yesterday's bumper bundle of fun (all 1/72nd):

Airfix Fouga Magister, circa 1975. What a great little kit! Nicely detailed cockpit (legless crew, unfortunately), fine and clear intakes and jetpipes, detailed u/c bays, (two canopies too, which gives me a second chance if a screw up cutting one of them up)............ if they could do it on this one, why not all of them?

Airfix F-5E, thereby giving me the pair I need for an unholy union.....

A-Model MiG-9. Bit of a curate's egg, this one. The designer has obviously really tried, with little compressor faces at the bottom of long intake ducts that many a "better" manufacturer would have plain blanked 10mm behind the face, jetpipe "buckets" etc... and you've got to feel sorry for him, because his creation was then delivered to the tender mercies of a moulding machine that left big margins of really solid flash on everything... Want this to build Arc's Migina 1 for the Profiles GB, but cleaning it up is not going to be quick

Two Hobby-Boss easy-build P-39Q Airacobras. Never had one of these before, so I was a bit surprised at how "pre-built up" they are, with a one-piece fuselage and a one-piece wing with all the detail in it. No problem for whiffing though, since they've moulded the whole canopy in one piece rather than making the frames as part of the fuselage with separate clear panes as I've seen on some other P-39 kits. One to be a Gyrocobra, the other a Turbocobra.....

my order for the carrier came in

-1/72 RoG HMCS Snowberry
-1/144 minicraft TBM Avenger
-1/144 Trumpeter F-86

however HUGE backfire in the Snowberry kit, after opening the box, i discovered it contained 2 Rear Hulls instead of a front and a rear  :banghead:
sent an E-mail to Revell asking if it is possible to sent out the missing parts

Just received a Hasegawa 1/72 F-15J with markings for the 2007 Tac Meet.  Spoilt for choice with the gorgeous markings on this - how do you choose just one of these?

Do her as a composite Nev - 4 markings/4 fin "faces" ? She could be an airshow aircrfat highlighting all 4 Squadrons ?

Anyway a Roden 1/72 Albatross DIII was added to the stash
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
