Finally got my mystery tried-twice-to-deliver-it-but-didn't-know-how-doorbells-work-guv package, and it turned out to be the LAST thing I bought, which means I now own a Matchbox Meteor NF.11/12/14.

It also means I'm STILL waiting for a couple a Bilek Whirlwinds from Model Hobbies (missing from order) and an Airfix MiG-21 off.......hang on, door bell.......

Edit - the MiG just showed up.... ;D Live internet at it's finest.....

Just blew the last of me pay on another Airfix Mosquito, the J30 kit. I'd advise Mossie fans to go for this one.  Not only does it have all the bits of the standard kit, but you also get four blade props and full D-Day invasion stripes for the wings and fuselage.
Have never bought the J30 version but yah know for all the bells and whistles you get with the Tamiya and Hasegawa Mosquitos (and of course the price you pay) I really don't think you can go wrong with an Airfix Mosquito in 1/72 scale.  Straightforward, sensible price, ripe for detailing.  Ideal stuff for Mr Hornby to add a bomber nose and canopy and even 2-stage Merlins in 2009.  Loads of options then (just like they've done in 1/48 scale).  Definately with Wooksta on this. ;D ;D

Picked up a 1/72 Revell Bf-110E today at Chestermoor, bit disappointed, thought it may of been the re-boxed Iteleri kit but its the old Revell one, nice transfers tho and it was only £4.95 so not alls lost. ;D
Looks a bit like the old Model 'G' Revell did.
I thought it was the old Monogram kit Steve ? Built that as a teenager  Quite liked it then

It's definitely the old Monogram kit which was always a nice kit.  The G that Revell released was the old Frog one and it was cack.

Thanks for confirming that Lee - I'll pick one up next time I'm out
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
