The reason you built the Matchbox P-12E was because it's beautiful.
Look good silver all over in RAF markings too.

Meanwhile:

1/48th Revell (Monogram) UH-1E Huey..real USMC Huey.
1/48th Hasegawa Jeep
1/48th Hasegawa F6F-5......which with the jeep will become part of a diorama portraying a scene from the John wayne film, "Flying Leathernecks" of 1951.

A couple of additions today:

From a local ebayer, an Arifix Bristol Belvedere.  The plan is for a Brit-nam troop transport in a jungle camo.

From NEV, my OWGB prize, a beautiful Tamiya M151A2 Mutt with cargo trailer.  Nev has also made a new rule that I have to build it for next year's OWGB.  The only 1/35 kits I've ever built are a Tamiya Jeep and an Academy Mutt, so I love this little thing.  For a while now I've been thinking one would make a great resistance vehicle for the Dalek Wars with a honkin' big anti-dalek gun in the back.

Thanks Nev!!

Just back from Poole, where I picked up:

1:72 Hasegawa Tigershark (going to be in 74 Sqn markings, with Skyflashes and Sidewinder Ls)
1:72 Revell Tornado GR.1 (lotsa ordnance!)
1:700 Trumpeter HMS Hood (1941)
3 pots of Tamiya paint.

I also got a Bandai 1:100 Master Grade Gundam GP01Fb model in the post today.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Over at Chestermoor again yesterday and picked up a 1/35 Opel Blitz, sorry a German 3-ton Truck, something to do with copy right and a 1/72 Big Beautiful Doll P-51 Mustang, both Tamiya.

Dropped into the local Hobby Lobby today.  No model sales going on but they did have a Trupeter F-107 on the clearance rack for $5.  I got that along with a clamp and some #11 blades from the tool section that was on sale for 50% off.  All for under a tenner!

I also noticed that their jewelry & beading section has some nice modeling tools.  They had a very nice tweezer set for about $5 (5 different tweezers including sharp-nosed, angle, and two different cross-action.)
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Three 1/144 kits - Academy F-4 Phantom, F-16 and F-15. No cockpits, but clear canopies. I think several will be used for parts for other kits.

I got them at a Hobby Lobby in Dubuque Iowa. We were there a couple of weeks ago, visiting my in-laws, and we mailed a bunch of stuff back by FedEx.

It would be nice to have a Hobby Lobby in California, but we're godless heathens to the Hobby Lobby folks, apparently.

1/48 Academy CH-53E.  Christ this thing is big.  $38 from Squadron.  Even with tax and postage it was still $40 cheaper than in the LHSs.
