Hey Joe,

I wasn't aware of any Pe-8s done in profiles (much less from me)?? :o >:(

Glad to be of service with the others tho.  I'll be visiting my own LHS fairly soon as I'm finally getting my car sorted (yayyy).  I've got a funny feeling I'll be looking around for Finnish & SAAF whiffery.

Regards,

Mav

2 x Airfix BAe Hawks
Airfix Hawker Seahawk
Matchbox Jaguar (early, inaccurate and interesting  ;D)
Frog Gannet (never had an old Frog job before: NO u/c bays, head-on-a-plate cockpits.... :o)
Novo Sea Fury
Airfix Firefly

From Phil P, some nice B-17 decals that will eventually find their way onto an 8th Air Force B-27 Lancaster.  Thanks Phil!!  I'm on the lookout for something suitable to send your way.

From the ebay fairy, a nice $3 1/48 Monogram AV-8B.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

The Airfix Gladiator IS the original....remember we're talking a '50s issue here.
The other 1/72nd Glads have been Heller, Frog and Matchbox.
My favourite was the Matchbox one.
The Airfix Gladiator does fit together surprisingly well, though, so THINK WW1, that's what I'm doing.
The Airfix decal sheet is innacurate and garbage.

From Modelzone in Sheffield:

3 x 1/48th Revell(Monogram) B-25J Mitchell..glass-nosed, although one of the decal options has the nose painted over and filled with machine guns. Got a photo and painting of this beauty too :o  £10 each
They'll possibly be REAL (aaaarrrggghhhh :banghead: :banghead:) but I hope one'll possibly be whiffed. But I might be subtle (what ME!!!) and do a RAF one with interesting nose art. Just to confuse, you know. And with a total bullshit write-up, nonody will realise, eh?

A kit of Dragon I'm guessing rather than a Dragon kit???  Games Workshop jobbie?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

A couple off EBay,a 1/72 Matchbox Jaguar for the weapons, not sure what I'll do with the rest of the kit, and a 1/72 Revell Huneter F.6 to be built in a yet to be determined scheme.

Not Games Workshop......far too bloody expensive.

Nope, in the various fantasy plastic figures (etc!!) that tie up with films, there's lots of strange things and "I picked up a rather animated fierce looking creature"....makes a slight change from the wife....and then bought the dragon

It'll have Swedish markings, of course.
