Picked up a 1/35 AFV Club M548A1 Cargo carrier, it's going to get converted in to a M752 Self-Propelled Lance missile launcher. ;D

Have you told Lance you plan on putting him into space  ;D

Probably need to reinforce the suspension

I like that description.  It combines both model numbers into one designation.  Now you need to find a suitable name for it since Sea King and Sea Hawk are taken and it is certainly not a Black Hawk so what can we name this new bird that is going to rise out of the scrap parts?

2. Two JB Models Saladin armoured cars. Don't know what I want them for yet, but I do know I want them....

BTW, the seller is a LHS who are selling other JB stuff off cheap: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Peakdale-Models-and-Collectables

Broken my 1/72nd rule.......

I don't normally announce ebay buys before they role up, but I can't keep this one quiet: 1/32nd Glencoe McDonnel XV-1 Convertiplane for a tenner.... ;D

It's definitely going to be turboshafted, probably using 1/72nd jet fighter intakes. My first thought was Vietnam-gunship, but since I have NO 1/32nd spares, acquiring the extra kit could get expensive. So now I'm thinking Vietnam FAC-bird, Cessna O-2-style: all white scheme with just a couple of smoke rockets and maybe a wheeled u/c.

Off eBay, 1/48 Monogram AV-8B with a TAV-8B conversion kit with it.  I'd figured that, for the price, it was the Maintrack conversion, I was wrong, it was a conversion by Scalecast.  I can now say that I have every TAV-8B/Harrier T.10 conversion except Heritage Aviation's one.  I do need to by that one to do a complete comparison, don't I? :D

More ebayness:

1. Another Airfix Gnat T1,

2. AT LAST - a pair of Airfix Whirlwinds, in one tatty box, with one canopy missing, for a sensible price. I was beginning to think me and Whirlwinds were doooooooomed.......

Well, whilst on the family holibobs in Norfolk, went to Lowestoft for the day.  Whilst the family were on the beach, "I'm going for a walk dear", and blow me, you wouldn't believe it, but 45 minutes later I was standing outside the Hannants warehouse! :D

Anyway, an hours frantic ogling later and I had to restrict my purchases to:

Hasegawa 1/48 T-4.  This is the one with the Cartograph decal sheet for EVERY unit that operates the T-4, mana from heaven for the whiffer.  Was the last one on the shelf too, YES!!!! :)

Hasegawa 1/48 JGSDF AH-64.  Now that Japan have cancelled their order of 60 Apaches after only 12 were delivered, it appears that Hannants have more of them than do the JGSDF :D

1/144 scale modeling is an addiction, and I gotta feed the monkey. From Megahobby:

1/144 Academy B-58A Hustler - definitely not going to be built real world.
1/144 Arii P-63A King Cobra
1/144 Trumpeter YF-23 - dirt cheap and really nice!
1/144 Arii RA-5C Vigilante. It may get cross pollinated with the Revell Mig-31.

1/288 Antonov An-24 Eastern Express
1/288 Antonov An-26 Eastern Express - both kits have nice turboprops for other projects in 1/350 or small turboprops in 1/144

"1/864" UFO from Light Force - comes with a multi-colored LED light circuit
TR-3-E UFO also from Light Force. No lights, but lightable. I only got it because it was on sale for half price. I don't know what I'll do with it, yet.

1/380 Hawaiian Pilot cargo ship from Revell-Germany. Torn box, so it was only $10.
