1/144 Academy B-58A Hustler - definitely not going to be built real world.
1/144 Arii P-63A King Cobra
1/144 Trumpeter YF-23 - dirt cheap and really nice!
1/144 Arii RA-5C Vigilante. It may get cross pollinated with the Revell Mig-31.

With all of these 1/144th scale kits, you are going to be in need of some weapons.  There is a guy on ARC right now that is trying to get rid of a bunch of 1/144th scale weapons.  Here is the link: WTT  A bevy of 1/144 weapons! (Josh1971)

Well, whilst on the family holibobs in Norfolk, went to Lowestoft for the day.  Whilst the family were on the beach, "I'm going for a walk dear", and blow me, you wouldn't believe it, but 45 minutes later I was standing outside the Hannants warehouse! :D

Point of clarification Nev - are you allowed to stroll around the warehouse ? Only someone told me that you could only look at a small "retail" shop they have ?

If it's the warehouse then I can see what I'm getting myself for my birthday

Yep, you have to sign in when you walk in the door, but then you're free to stroll up and down the aisles.

Is there a time limit of how long you can stay or do they just lock you in on a night ?  ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Nev, I'll probably take a day trip now and re-stock the resin - Ohhhhh - maybe I should take the bank manager  (if they still exist ?)  ;D

Today my stepmother presented me with what my brother calls a "bribe"

Academy 1/288 Space Shuttle with 747 carrier aircraft

I'm not sure what I'll do with it, if anything.

Ideas:

All Black USAF shuttle.  When the base was built at Vandenburg, the Russians were particularly worried that the Shuttle might be used for delivering nuclear weapons, maybe add a bucket of instant sunshine as a payload.

Moonraker markings from the Bond film?

Convert it to a conventional cargo aircraft, high wing, loading ramp?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

After reading this months MAM I've suddenly developed an urge to build a Maryland and Baltimore as well.

Anyway popped into MZ at Holborn while on the way to the British Museum (Hadrian Exhibition, very good) and picked up a HobbyBoss F-86 for my profile build plus in the middle of the Manager's Offers there was a Tamiya 1/48 KV-II looking all lonely. so I snapped it up at half price.

Martin, give me a shout when you start the Spiteful as I can give you the correct sized tail surfaces and some better radiators.  In addition, chuck away the canopy or use it as a plug and get it vacformed.  The fuselage should continue up to the cockpit aperture, unlike the kit where there's a cut out.  Think Spitfire 16.

Nice one Lee I will bare all that in mind. :)
