;D No worries Thomas! Had to pay you back for that delightful Russian bipe! I want to see those RNZAF decals used on something soon k?

The TradeMe fairy has delivered a Matchbox 1/48 AD-5/AD-5N Skyraider. Will be built in USAF or VNAF marks. Or maybe RAAF.

Mossie

Put a crescent wing on it! ;)

SAC maybe?  Take your pic of schemes, NMF, all over grey, SIOP or SEA?
West Germany?
RAF, either Dk Green/Dk Earth for Vietnam or a Winter scheme?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Well Finnish seems to be in fashion at the moment......

Carrier version with folding wings and a SERIOUS arrestor hook (no you don't have to build the carrier to scale....)?

There's been a Vulcan in Desert Pink before, but a PR Pink would be good.
Why not White Undersurfaces and Blue Upper Surfaces, with a mid-blue tail and seperation between the main colours?
WW2 USN markings as well.

Or why not Swedish Splintercamo like on the Viggen

Dark Earth/Dark Green/Sky and Lancaster decals?

Meanwhile......just for a change....a couple of 1/48th A-20s

I got:

1/350 JAG Resin USS Asheville. It looks like the master was 3D printed - it has incredibly fine detail. I'll use it as a companion/comparison to my WIP patrol gunboat.

1/350 Fujimi IJN Submarine Cargo Maruyu Yu-1001. Cool little sub, with options for clear sides. It comes with PE bits, some cargo and an even smaller 1/700 scale version of the sub. I'm going to Whif this one.

1/144 Academy B-47.

Wouldn't a "super-RAPTOR" faired into the bomb bay be more appropriate?

Box of misc weapons off ebay (£2). Mix of 1/48th and 1/72nd and nothing terribly inspiring, but all grist to the mill.

I'm refraining from ordering anything off ebay now until our drive re-surfacing is complete: since the neighbours have been kind enough to let our post be delivered to their house, I'm not going to burden them with signing for parcels too. Watch something unmissable pop up now, of course.......
