already been done AD! after a fashion.

i have a couple of italeri twin stick jag's finished in single seat schemes.

#1 was the 60th anniversary of RAF coltishall on their jaguar E kit
#2 was a 41 sqn special from the 1980's iirc on a jaguar T2 kit, with recce pod, RWR on tail and AIM-9's over wing!

worth doing as the italeri 1/72 jag kits are all very nice indeed. RoG have also repopped their single seater.

An Airfix Gloster Meteor F3 arrived from the ebay fairy this morning.

So what mark of Mosquito is that going to be?

Revell 1/144 Sea Shadow

Crying-out for some sort of multi-toned black/extreme dk gry splinter scheme...... How about a 'dogfight double' with a Revell Ekranoplan ?

Maverick

evilBay for the stash restock. All in 35th scale & all from Dragon:

MACV-SOG
USN Seals II (Vietnam)
2nd SAS, France
US Support Weapons Teams, WW2
US 10th Mtn Div, 1944 (Gen 2)

Happy Mav again, although I'm slightly underwhelmed with the Gen 2 set.  Bigger box, a few extra bits, but the whole hollow muzzle and breaking down nearly every anatomical part into two parts seems a bit of overkill to me.  But then again, I prefer vinyl tracks too!!!

Regards,

Mav

Eh ?, the Italeri 1/72 Hawk 100 has been out for years as its in the Aussie delivery scheme and Flizer is just another revell reissue. I suppose your thinking the Hawk was in 1/48th scale Nev ?

What they did have Nev was the Bronco Staghound III, the Humber with twin Vickers and the 1940 A-13 Cruiser tank which should all appeal to yopu with your birthday money

Ah, you got me Geoff - although from BM it does appear that the 1/48 Hawk is now out...

As for the green ground things - already got the initial Staghound and Humber kits, not so bothered about these latest releases.  A13 is tempting though (A30 is imminent as well I believe).

Yeap no worries

The SKP A30 Challenger was out last month BTW, you should really try and scoot along the M-62 to Halifax and have a look at Halifax Modellers World (you can always park up at Eureka and leave the family there whilst you pop up the hill to the Piece Hall )
