I also get the feeling that one of those two are going to donate their spats to the Spitfire.

From the art shop near the LHS: a decent #1 brush and a couple of paint syringes.

From the ebay fairy: a couple of glass eye-droppers, three of the four Testors 1/32nd Salt Flat Racers (thread here: http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,21736.msg309932.html#new), and Heller Noratlas  in 1/170th scale .

Is the Noratlas kit particularly rare or collectable? If it is then I'll sell it on. If it isn't, then since it was cheap and it'a actually a pretty crappy kit, I have a mind to scaleorama it into a 1/72nd scale early French jet prototype, powered by a Derwent (unlike all the real ones that used the Hispano-Suiza-built Nene) and made by Fouga (since it has long, glider-like wings).

Airfix Boston III 1/72nd......covered of course in rivets. Decal sheet has 3 options...RAF 88Sqn with WRONG shade codes in white, SAAF one in the Desert, USAAF hack in the UK....nice idea.
My Boston will be whiffed...possibly Yugoslavian or Italian?
The kit transparances are pretty anonymous, but it'll be a fun build eventually.
Interestingly for JMNs and A-20 nerds, the artwork on the front and on the kit mouldings represent the exhaust arrangements of the Boston III, whereas the drawings for the colour scheme/decal placements show the Boston IIIA configuration, for which you'll need to modify the kit. I'm pretty sure all the decals are for the kit as moulded though.

Off eBay, Revell 1/72 Mirage IIIE/R/S/RS - 'twill likely be built as an S or RS with the combination underwing tank/stores racks will go on another aircraft, most likely a Phantom II whif (thinking of a Phantom FG.3 (Spey-powered equivalent of the F-4E) with these on the outer wing hardpoints and a designator pod in one of the forward Sparrow bays.

Anigrand B-32 Dominator. Will be either RAF or RAAF

It's a nice kit Duncan - I was suprised at how small the fusalage was though. I have a lovely kits at War Transfer sheet for it - can't decide on RAF Italy, SEAC, RAAF or maybe Tiger Force in white/black ?

The parts for it look good but I don't think I'll get one, I've already have the Aviation USK multi media 1/72 kit which is mostly injection and vacuform

Hey Terry, I spied you at the show but you were deep in conversation with Neil Robinson so I didn't want to disturb you.  I was only there 30 minutes anyway as

1)  Isaac was sick in the car when we got there (decided to take him as a "treat")

2)  He was totally spooked out by the event - all the big people I think, and was *terrified* when he saw the Wallace and Grommit figures.  Go figure.  I spent most of the time carrying him round.

3) I had to be back by 1500 for work.

Anyway, I did some brief shopping and got

AFV Club 1/35 M5A1 Stuart, Early Version.  For a new-tool kit, with a turned aluminium barrel and a small EB fret, £15 is a brilliant value for money IMO.

DML 1/35 Commonwealth Infantry "Sicily/Italy".  A bit pricey at 12 quid, but then again thats the price of 1 resin figure and you get 8 (EIGHT!) in this set.

Isaac also chose himself an Airfix 1/144 pre-painted "easy kit".  Showing he has impeccable taste (and with only a little help from his old man) he got an F-4EJ in the classic JASDF blue scheme   Dad is helping him build this ;)

Oh, and I got a little Mahogony base for my Saxon Warrior Chieftan that I'm painting up

1/144 Revell Concorde, 1/144 Revell B-2, and a 1/32 Dragon P-51.

Going to do a YAB (yet another bombcorde), and I'll whiff the B-2, somehow.  The P-51 is going to be a careful, straight-up project, probably as a gift for someone.
