The Aerofax and Ginter books on the Viggie have plenty of details on the buddy-refueling system trialed and proven on the Viggie (the drogue was stored at the aft end of the bomb bay) and I've been thinking of doing a KA-5D in bright tanker markings along with a separate conversion for an EA-5E (most likely in USAF SEA markings).

I picked up an AM Predator UAV and a Revell Flitzer at the LHS this afternoon. Both 1/72. Don't know if the Predator will be real world or WHIFF.  And I need a good WHIFF idea for the Flitzer.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

and a couple of Westland brochures, one on the Scout the other on the Wasp  ;D

I think you'll find that both models are out of stock these days, although you may be able to pick one up on ebay...... ;D

I just got another Heller F-104G/TF.104G off ebay. Destined to be hacked into other projects because it's a good source of whiff bits.

British roundels and some bombs or a big gun mounted underneath - sort of a ground attack version of the Vampire? Or a French carrier based jet?

Well the Luftwaffe rejected the Flitzer because they thought it wouldn't have enough performance edge. If they'd done so after production had begun, the resulting aircraft might have been "palmed off" on the Romanians or some other ally. In a Whiff World, maybe Italy's still on-side late enough to licence produce Flitzers, or maybe the war situation is so much better for the Germans that they can spare some for Finland......

I've got about 15 1/72 Scouts in the stash and a couple 1/48 Wasps so that won't be a problem ;D

He's probably got a way to go before he matches your Mossie count Lee! ;D
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Radish

If Lee has Mossies, does mossie have Lees?

Meanwhile...picked up 4 more Daleks :dalek: :dalek: :dalek: :dalek:

Hungarian AF is always a good bet for late war wif's. They were still on the Axis side and Hungarian pilots were at the first stage of training for Me 262's.

However the Aeronvale suggestion previously stated sounds sound to me  ;D
