Just worked out the rotor diameter........................ 21.25 inches  :drink:

Yes, it is a large kit.  Did you get the version that has the Exocet or the gruntniks?

If in the course of your research you happen to find any decent images of the machine gun mounts for the Super Frelon please share them by posting to the topic on the Super Frelon listed in the hot topic forum board.

Just think of the commission Geoff - us pensioners have to supplement our income somehow

I've got that decal sheet for the Avia 534 if you want to do it something other than the kit markings Geoff as it covers the series III as well.

Does this mean you'll be smelling all nice and fresh at Telford then, Terry?
Come to think of it, what does a Dalek smell like? I would have thought of oil and rotten flesh and burnt electrical ozone....... :dalek:

Last week for my birthday I bought the HobbyBoss 1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon F.1 for just £10 in Modelzone. It is excellent.  :tornado:
Of 50 parts I've put them all together into 4 main sections (cockpit, radome, upper and lower fuselages) and am just painting the cockpit interior before final assembly and overall painting. Build time approx 6 hours including painting.

The parts fit very well, the landing gear doors fit onto the fuselage with a tongue and groove fitting to give the correct angle of sit. The moulding is crisp and the cockpit could easily stand alone as a mini diorama.
Very recommended.
