So first class post does work  ;D

Oh ye of little faith  ;D

Maybe we should start a 534 fan club or SIG ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Picked up a 1/48th Academy Challanger II at my LHS.. Originally designed to be a motorised toy so the parts are pretty basic, the gun has an awful trench down the underside. I brought it because I like the idea of 48th armour kits, but if they are all going  to be lik ethat then I'll stick to 72nd scale!!

Well I went to Modelzone in Manchester on Friday and came away with...... one tube of putty.

Does this mean I have enough kits now?

I would be interested in your expert opinion about this kit Martin.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Grabbed a 144th scale F-20 yesterday. Got ho,me and started drooling over the kit, some nice little weapons, a couple different centreline options....and then I see the canopy ! WTF ? Ruins the whole kit ! I'm going to try something, not sure what, tho. It would be easier to hack it up and model it open, but I really want to make this one a flier, with the wheels down, so I can do some touch and goes.

Anybody have any ideas on how to fix it ?
