That's the boxing of that display team isn't it?  I saw them for real a few years ago at the Cold Lake, Alberta airshow.  I'll never forget the sound of those engines, very different.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

some more additions to the cause arrived today,an old Hasegawa T-33 (with thanks to Weaver) and an old Matchbox OH-58, that was by the looks of it made in China, and it has rub on transfers with it!! I was hoping it was the armed version but it isn't, anyway, what do you want for 4 quid!!
Next to arrive, will be a mirage wah-64 in 1/72nd, also 4 quid inc postage. My bank account is about to have a coronary.

Well the WAH-64 arrived today, I have only ever built one Mirage kit before of a 1/72nd scale Lee tank, and that was a nice kit to build, the detail on the Apache on the other hand, is a bit lacking, the gun is very basic indeed. But for 4 quid it'll do!

Great kit - crying out for a Sgt York turret, a whitewash camouflage scheme and some maple leaves on the side !

Well this months early Xmas celebration started with a 1/72 Hasegawa Crusader (a swap with Chrisonord - thank you very much) but today I received the 1/72 HobbyBoss N/AW A-10 Thunderbolt II 2 seater, the TA-7C Corsair and the A-7H Tigermeet Corsair - £9 each which I didn't think was bad.

Haven't opened the boxes yet as I have to smuggle them passed the wife (bit like airport security). I guess I'm going to get caught since I promised her no further purchases this year ! Happy days !

Hya Andy,
Where did you get the TA-7 from?? I was thinking about one of those in 1/72nd myself. A-7 are one of my favourite aircraft, and a twin seater would make a good OA-7 in my task force.
Cheers,
Chris.

Two Airfix Drakens off one ebay auction for a very reasonable price.

I had five things coming from either ebay or mailorder: the Drakens were the LAST ones I bought and the FIRST to arrive..... :banghead:
