Will be in Manchester on the 19th for the CAMRA National Winter Ale festival, if I miss the bus home after the visit to the Marble brewery pub I may be at Bolton.  Do they still do that red cabbage stuff with the pies?

There could be a situation if it continues raining, where I'm living on an island, albeit temporary.
If I...or most likely we as Mid's threatening to supervise me :o.....don't show, it's because we can't paddle our car.
Fingers crossed, though....it's dry at the moment.
I couldn't give a stuff about getting back, just so long as we can get there!!

It would be a minor misuse of our resources, but I could task a helo to come and get you if things get really bad - like if you have swans floating about in your bedroom, that sort of 'bad' ! - Let me know, I'll be on-line and on duty all Saturday

Thanks Ian.
I've got a wild feather boa upstairs, but that probably doesn't count.
And.....it's stopped raining....in fact, hardly a drop today so all routes out of the village OK.
Mid's hoping for an absolute deluge for 12 solid hours between about 7pm and 7am rendering everything extremely "closed" for Monday morning!
