Is that frame metal? If it isn't, it sure looks like it should be. Outstanding!

Would your semi be for the Starship Modeler Apocalypse Build at all?

:Evil laugh: Sweeeeet !  This is going to be horribly wonderful, I can tell !

MGP nailed it, it's for the SM Apocalypse build :)

Panzer, haven't seen that one but I'll bet it has some good ideas!

The kit is by Revell and is white plastic underneath it all. I airbrushed it black and then did three or four watered down acrylic washes in various shades of tan, brown and rust over the frame. It will get a little more detailing but I really liked the effect.

I kind of figured it might be. I saw the thread a SM and I must say I'm pretty tempted to join in. Dirt, rust, dents, armour plate and weapons....what's not to like?
Got a good idea of what sort of vehicle I'd go with, plus all the mods I'd like to do. I wonder if anyone makes 1/25 scale machine guns.......?

Lookin good. I do like the rusty well beaten metal look.

I saw that thread and was tempted to give a whirl as well. Be the only way I will ever build a car.

I have a 1977 Ford Mustang II here  that I plan to apocalypsize.

As for Weapons I think that Warhammer 40K stuff might be close enough?
Get this Cheese to sick bay!

They had a huge thread about this subject over at Scale Auto Mag but I can't seem to find it anymore.  Probably 30 or more builds were done.  Some pretty wild stuff also.

Will be watching this thread and may have to check out the SM build.

Course, I wanted to do more of a Car Wars type build.  That game used to be fun and always wanted to put some armor and a turret on some type of car.

You guys should join in! I think the build runs until valentines day. Heck I hadn't build a car in over 30 years easy so I thought it might be fun and a little off the beatewn path :)

That's some outstanding work on the frame, Black Ops! Fantastic! I'd be tempted to do the tanker trailer in that burnihsed metal look too.

A couple of pics of the interior, for the most part you won't be able to see it when I get the screens and stuff over the windows but it didn't stop me from painting in all those dials and stuff!  :o I swear there's more stuff in a Semi than most aircraft cockpits!
