I've got two 1/72 Dragon Bradleys (one ODS and an A3, I think (need to find the boxes)).  Got a goofy idea for the ODS, and a semi-serious one for the other.

Anyone know where I can get my hands on a 1/72 M88A2 (ok, so it doesn't have to be an A2, but I want an M88 for my Humble-gun!).

I got a lot on my workbench right now so I'm gunna go with something nice and simple, the Cromwell models 1/76 A39 Tortoise.  I might add a small dio base if I get time.

Too many ideas, in three groups:

Swedish Army thread:

What if Swedish Army did not rely in a turretless tank but in a conventional one?. Add a turret to a S tank.
What if Swedish Army upgrades Centurion with a Chieftain's gun as an stop gap wainting for Strv-2000?
What if Strv-2000?

US Army thread:

RDF-LT; this has been always my obsesion. Love the ARES gun
Alternative to Sargent York: a M-1 hull with GM AAA turret.

Spanish Army thread:

Lince: a real paper project consisting in a downgraded Leopard-2.
LeoX: another real paper project consisting in mating Leopard-1 hull with AMX-30 turret.

And much more ...

How about adding a turret with a fixed gun and use the S-tank's suspension for elevation?  Say, a turret like that on the US Army's experimental T92 tank but with at least a 105mm gun instead of the T92's 90mm gun.

Ok, we need some Armoured AA vehicles to deal with Blacklion213 now!

Well, if I get around to it I've got an idea for a Chieftain or Centurion toting Bloodhounds, that should make the A-10A a touch uglier!!!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Wicked - what about a Chieftain with the main gun replaced with a pair of Bofors 40mm cannon and a pair of SAMs on either side of the turret?

Greg

Well, I'd thought of a lighter system using a Scimitar retaining the Radern cannon & maybe mounting a couple of Rapiers or possibly four Javelins?  Kind of a precursor to the Stormer HVM.

I'm looking towards a 35th scale Leo II, with some 'modifications' for the ARA.  Got the backstory all but completed, but it's a work in progress really as the build progresses.  If I get it done soon enough, I'm thinking of another project to accompany it.

Now im am strictly a aircraft modeler, but if i were to enter this it would be an AAA tricked out M1A3 Storm with the main gun replaced by a GUA-8/AA with a battery of Roland and Stinger missiles on both sides of the turrert and a data link / radar up top and the ablity to direct PAC-3 Patriots on to  *gulp*....... Targets

Ok, this thread has bizarrely spun away from my initial intention...

BTW, Blacklion, all your planes would have to get through the AEGIS shield off-shore before any pain could befall the armor on land

Seriously, anyone?  M88A2?  1/72?  Hell, I'd take an M88!  I got my Humblegun to build!
