for the next One Week Build GB? After seeing Man-Ho's stash and display shelves, I'm already making plans. This time, I want to have everything planned out and ready to go or do I have a case of Go Fever and just need to relax and take it easyyyyy until then. Just typing out loud.... ;D

This is one of my favorite What-If traditions! It usually only takes me between a week and ten days to build a model, so in preparation, I'm going to challenge myself this weekend. I've got Monday off so I'm going to use the time between Sunday afternoon and Monday evening to try and complete an SE-5 as a spatted night fighter with an enclosed canopy. The all-over NIVO scheme will help keep things simple, although I'm considering gunship gray undersides.

Plan ahead?  The one week includes the plotting, scheming and part sorting phase.  That was half the fun for me the last time around.  Ready, set, GO!

I plan everything !

From subject, to loadout and all points in-between. When I open the box, I throw the references, decals, 'extras' and main paints in aswell so I've got everything in one place and dont have to keep hunting around for stuff. The current project - the RAF Thunderstreak - was planned nine months or so back, before it was decided to do an RAF 100 theme at this years nationals.

I started planning-out my next build - a Mitsubishi F-2B (NOT RAF) in the summer when some of the guys here were discussing and posting profiles of it.

Crikey, I know PPPPPPP, but still c'mon fellas - its not till August!

Having said that, I already have a couple of ideas swirling round my head.  And I know last year I swore blind I was going to do something nice and easy like a small scale tank, but now I'm looking and thinking "hmmm, Italeri Jaguar.......Hasegawa F-4......"

And having said that, on the UAMF they have a new year tradition, the Blitzbau - a one ***DAY*** group build!!!!  :o

I haven't done a start-to-finish model within a week in years. Every year I think I'm going to, but life always gets in the way.

But there's always hope!  ;D
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Hi All
Been thinking of joining in on this one and have been in training.
I`ve got a glue bottle that opens in 1 1/2 twists less than normal, an electric paint stirrer and 2 sons on standby to operate same. The kits are sorted as to parts fuselage  wings etc and how many parts to complete said item.  These have also been presanded, trimmed, and generally cleaned up ready for instant use.
Over my head a heater blower has been installed in a very Heath Robinson setup with a footswitch to help dry adhesives and paints and should I be using that foot on the compressor switch a tongue operated overide switch is available
This year my motto is going to be ready steady done!.
regards Gary.
