Man, that is one ugly skateboard!  I'm always amazed that something can start out so rough and end up so nice....it is going to end up nice isn't it Greg?    ;D

LOL...it better !  I have the carcass over at a moldmaker's shop right now, I should be able to blow the fiberglass in next week. I'm working on the upper deck parts right now, those will be cast in resin.

Well well well, I certainly look forward to the completion of this monster with baited breath.
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

As will I. I've had an interest in OGRE since the game first appeared, and did get an article published in
THE SPACE GAMER many, many years ago. The only thing I've done with it recently was a game scale
model of the Coelacanth GE Ogre*...it came out fairly well, and I keep thinking I'll get around to building a
larger one...

Good luck with the Mark Nine, and keep us posted, please.

The stats for it are somewhere on the SJG site-I'll go look them up in a bit.

EDIT: Here it is... http://www.sjgames.com/ogre/ogre_gev/redhot.html

Sorry for the lack of updates. I burned my right eye's retina last week during a photoshoot, and haven't been taking too much time for photos or building. Feeling better now.
Still haven't gotten the molds back, I may run overtime on this one.

I'm almost afraid to ask how you achieved this Spinal-Tap-Drummeresque injury...  :o

I was shooting some test images for the skateboard sales brochure, and the models all showed up late, so I ended up shooting into the sun...with slr. Through the nice lens, my right eye was trashed. What an idiot I am !  You can see some of the images on
