Chaps,

Any details, photos, etc., of Hunter F.6 WW598 which I believe was used at some point in the development of the TSR2 would be useful.
At some point it was WHITE all over.
Any ideas on modelling it in 1/72nd would be helpful, especially concerning the pointy nose.
Cheers,

Hiya Terry, Hunter F.6 WW598 was one of the Firestreak armed P.1109 prototypes used in connection with 'Project Swifter' low altitude turbulence trails and later for cockpit visibility assessment

the aircraft as you mentioned had a lengthened nose for radar, only 2 Aden gun ports (altho the ejection ports for the filled 2 were stil visible), non dogtoothed wing, small drop tanks and a camera fairing atop the nose. As you said the aircraft was finished in an overall white scheme (quite clean in the photos iv seen during the TSR. period)

there is a photo in Pearcy's RAE Bedford booklet as well as in the old Aircam on the Hunter, ill try scan and post up some images of the airframe onto the TSR. research site
