I would bet the screens work :o :o :o :o :o :o

Not only do they work, but I bet they can get HD-TV too!

That's some astounding detail work Robert! My hat's off to you!

Just a small update today, been a bit busy lately as work has picked up and on top of that we have managed to buy a new place to live.

Not much got done except I have worked on the u/c bays.  I've sorted out how they will look and actually got it to sit on all four corners.

I had to change the main u/c legs from single wheels to twin wheels (this is something Italeri got wrong with the Cormorant and the Marine One kit)
I cut the single axle stub off and drilled a small hole in it's place to take a bit of wire which will be the new axle.  I was going to use the front wheels which came in the kit but it looks a bit odd like that, so I've changed them for some Aeroclub 6mm wheels I had in the spares box.

Wow, suddenly looks very serious/all business.  Good call on the u/c, IMHO.

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Thanks JHM, I should make a correction though , the original front wheels are 6mm, these Aeroclub ones are actually 8mm which are just a tad smaller than the rear wheels which are 8.5mm

This looks better with every post Robert, it looks very convincing!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thanks guys ----- I hope to have her 'walking' very soon Todd     At least I want to complete all the build and painting before I move at the end of the month,

I've talked with Bill at CanMilAir about some declas for it, I'm going with a variation of his Cormorant sheet only have all the colours in low-vis greys (yes it's going to be Canadian     the backstory will explain once I've developed it a bit further)

Question for anyone who might know or suggest,  I need a colour/colours for the radome and the mass of aerials and other 'lumps & bumps'  keeping in mind this has developed more into an AWAC.

Well radomes these days tend to be the same colour or just a different shade of the grey.

Nice work on the wheels - its the little touches like that that elevate a whiff.
Between almost-true and completely-crazy, there is a rainbow of nice shades - Tophe

Sorry guys, nothing to report, got busy with work and I'm in the middle of a house move too so all model building is now on hold until we've settled in..  We've finally found our little piece of Alberta to call our own.

Good luck on the move and the new digs, Robert.  Don't forget you need a display case/area big enough to house a 1:72 An-225 (I'm sure you'll end up finding one, somewhere!)
