Well we're in the new house, got a view from the office window that streches for miles, all I need to do now is get the hobby room set up.  On the build front, nothing got done but my decals for it did arrive, Bill at CanMilAir helped me out by making me a variation of his Cormorant sheet he does, think of everything in low-vis grey.

The decals sound good....can we see a pic of the sheet ?

Thanks guys,  if all goes well it might be ready for a show in Calgary in May.

Here's a pic of the decals Bill Burns did up for me, not the best of photo though.  As the Petrel will be painted Barley grey I decided that the light low-vis grey used on the CC-150 markings would be about right for this project.  The long strip of red-white-red is for the tail rotor blades, I needed five bands so Bill did this long strip so I could use what I wanted;

Oh yeah....looking good ! She's gonna be super-smart in low-viz lightning stripes. You'll have to email a pic to the CAF so they'll know how to paint the Cyclone properly !

Nice work on the wheels - its the little touches like that that elevate a whiff.

Agreed, keep it coming, Rob.

Cheers Trevor,  sorry to say though I've not made any progress lately, there's a million things to do around the new property and I've not had time to set the hobby room up yet, so the Petrel is packed away in it's box.  I'm hoping in the next month or so to be back building models.

I have virtually NO patience with homesteaders who make excuses about their recent move-in, their models trapped in moving cartons, and too much work to do on the new acreage...ah, um....right then!  Why don't you simply send your unbuilt kits and in-progress models to me (since I'm a bit ahead of you on the setting-up-the-new-home gig)???

Hmmmm?   :rolleyes:

Well it's getting there, just a couple of major fix-ups (fence around the yard, new garage door) to do and then on to the hobby room.  I've got to replace some outside wiring too, so we've just found out with all the rain we've been getting. Like the main line that comes from the utility pole to the house  :angry:

We've been here just shy of two years and I still don't have a hobbyroom ! Kids are just to expensive these days.....
