Getting back into modeling

AeroplaneDriver

Afet a few weeks of resting patiently, the Raven is back on the bench.  I've got a few last decals on, and am about to do a little light weathering before attaching the fiddly bits.  Hopefully done this afternoon!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Well she's done.  I'll ost a full Gallery Article tomorrow with backstory and better pics, but for tonight this is it since I'm off out for a night on the town with the lovely wife (going to see a Journey tribute band to relive our 80s youth).

Hope you like...

Wow that rocks, AD! I love the color scheme, the rocket and the cool missile on the back! Another winner!

This is wonderful, A-D!!!

The modifications are so real... and the paint scheme is very attractive.

Is that a model ASAT riding on top of the 'bird, or a scratchbuilt one?

Veeeery good!!!

I think it's in the SR-71 kit.  The factory test Habu wore it.

That is SOOOOO badass.  That will fool many a JMN.  Hell that'll get a lot of regular folks!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

NARSES2

It's all been said, but when did that ever stop me - fantastic build
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Brilliant. Nothing more - nothing less.

Am just glad to have you around to show us your work. I'd have to say, this is now my favorite of your works. Outstanding!

Thanks for the comments guys!

Rafa, the ASAT missile is scratchbuilt from the aft section of a Russian missile of some sort from a Kitech Su27 coupled to the front of an otherwise useless ECM pod from the spares box (originally from a Esci 1/48 A-10 I think).  I drilled a few holes to represent bolts at the coupling of the stages and added a bit of fine solder and styrene strip for 1st stage details.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....
