Dakota with a differnce.....big time.

Ive been working on this on and off for a few months.







Meet the Boeing DC-3II. built to comemorate the Legendary DC-3 Dakota. useing the 737 700 as a base, these were custom built for those airlines who wished to celebrate their historical connection to the Dak.
Here you see one of two belonging to British airways in a retro BEA scheme worn by its original Daks. It is normaly found operateing out of Inverness Airport.

its a chopped up revell 737 700 (the one with Ryan air markings)
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

nah thats the sane option lol it was going to be in olve drab over grey with D day stripes at first, but i couldnt be bothered with all that masking for the stripes

That is certainly a very imaginative and fresh concept. The rear wheel is a very nice touch.
