Not fair ! Not fair ! Maybe I should just go with " I taught him everything he knows " Ya, that might make me feel better......

Anyway, he started this 144th kit one day. He had it mostly done the next day, and I told him " you'll probably have to put some different decals on it, 'cause these ones will be a little to hard for you ". Much to my surprise, I got home from work and "wow", the kids a natural !

That is fantastic !  At that age, I was lucky to get the canopy on straight (shades of Calvin and Hobbes).  That is talent that we are going to have to keep an eye on...MD, are you listening? NASA? Yipes.

So is he to be known as Major Canada?   Nice work, heck Cap, maybe you should take notes, he got one off the bench pretty quick!

Nice!  Tell me those are "stickers" and not actually water-slide transfer dEEEcals!  Sure beats playing Nintendo DS all day long!
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

The Rat

Ain't it the horse's arse? You just get them to the age where they can be genuinely impressed rather than just thinking parents are gods, and they pull stuf like this!  Tell him he's got a very admiring audience here.

Derek is doing the same thing with his Warhammer figures, I think I'll put him to work doing all my pilots.  ;D

He did a great job on that.  I'm certain I would not have done nearly as well with the same thing.  I've just started delving in to 1/144, and it's much more challenging in many ways than the larger scales.

Brian da Basher

He's a chip off the ol' block for sure, Toad! Your boy has serious skills!
