The Fitter Syrena has about the same range as the Lightning - ideal for defending the Isle of Wight!

I'm imagining the Vautour in service with RAF Germany (but in anti-flash white as it carried 'Red Dwarf' tactical nukes) until replaced by Thunderstrike S.1's (TSR.2) in 1971. The Vautour is another stock 'non-flyable' or AI aircraft that works just fine if you use a surrogate pit. Fine aircraft as it was, the RAF Germany 'interdictor' Canberra squadrons (3, 14, 16, 88 and 213) would have had a tough time in the mid-60's to and early 1970's period and it's scandalous that they soldiered on for so long.

Stretching things a bit regarding the in service date I know but I do like 'Desert Pink' and I do like bigger pale blue/pale pink roundels and on both wings please!!! Thinking about it, I wonder what unreheated turbofans would have fit in there? Adour too small, Spey too big... we need a pair of Rolls-Royce Goldilocks!

For me, the Yorkshire Flag works well as a fin flash and I thought that an ANG style 'YORKSHIRE' fin band would look especially good with the white rose repeated on the 'nosebar' marking.

I've previously done a later MiG-21 in RAF service as the BAC Stilleto F.3 (on the current Page 28) but to do an earlier F.1A I needed to decide which BAC founding company to allocate the Stilleto to and thought Bristol would be a good choice.

This is a quick conversion of my Fuerza Aérea Argentina Beagle and I think it then steered me to use a 'Communist' star instead of a roundel.

This is one of two stock VPAF MiG-21 camo schemes in 'Strike Fighters 2:Vietnam' and three out of the five bitmaps needed a bit of work as the canopy frame, pylons and gun-pod were in silver. It definitely has a ZERO look to it so I've used yellow serial numbers but stopped short of adding a vertical yellow band.

Final JASDF MiG-21 for now and this is the second of the stock VPAF schemes from 'Strike Fighters 2:Vietnam' which required a bit of touching up around the windscreen and canopy area.

Wow! I like this photoset myself! This is the stock MiG-19S made flyable by using the F-100D pit and using a stock (but rarely seen) Egyptian camo with my well-used Finnish decals including some new 'MG-300' series decals (I'm thinking MG-100 series for MiG-15, MG-200 series for MiG-17, MG-300 series for MiG-19, etc.). What really sets these off is the camo against the snowy backdrop and this is a terrain called 'British Isles' (for it includes Ireland) by a modder called Baltika - it's superb and is basically normal towns and fields but with snowy mountains exactly where the UK has mountains. BTW this terrain would be perfect for some Patchwork World action!

Final Finnish 'Farmer' for now. The fin marking uses a bit of artistic licence and utilises the Eagle seen inside a grey triangle with a blue border (the only marking commonly seen for HävLLv 21) and I thought I'd move the serial number to the nose and introduce a simple '21' marking on the fin using blue from the Finnish roundel on a white background.
