You say you want to fly across the Atlantic or tour the battlegrounds of the Pacific, but worry about that pesky single engine reliablity of the Cessna 172? Here at Edward's Engineering, we address this problem and have designed the more reliable Cessna 172LR. ;D

Yowsa Eddie I love it! I've always had a soft spot for tri-motors, but you've taken it to the next level by inventing the Quint motor!

So what are the wing engines going to be? Might I suggest a story in which somebody finds a crate of Pobjoy Niagaras?

Well why not say that it was a succesfull engine, and the 10 engined Douglas DC-3.10 was a huge success with over 20.000 built (mega whiff backstory ;D)

Neat model, but I see a technical flaw you may have overlooked:

The 172's cockpit isn't wide enough for five throttles!!   ;D
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

BlackOps

Looks to be another way cool build Eddie!

 I got a laugh out of that one. The wings came off a 1/144 DC-4. The first thing I thought of is a solar powered plane like NASA's Helios.

Now, I've made for long duration flight over water. Maybe I should put O2 tanks in the rear of the cabin?

Hi Eddie

"Maybe I should put O2 tanks in the rear of the cabin? "

I should put some oxy tanks in your modelling den as somthing solvent based is deffinately leaking in there! ;D
