Built a few years ago because I wanted something different, it started as the Airfix Superfreighter (only game in town in 1/72) and I added the Magna Models conversion set.  Decals from the spares box.

Very nice ! Thanks for posting those, Robert. I've got that kit plus the conversion. Started it a few years back ( sanding rivets etc. ) but it's been knocked back in the queue since I've gone waltzing down whiffery garden path......

My Grandpa used to see them at Baden. He took a couple of nice photos of them, which can be seen in Milberry's Vol. 3 of the RCAF book.

Thanks guys,  and I know what you mean Todd, about the 'whiffing' path, it's a bit addictive,  I've been meaning to get a few OOB models done but I always end up changing something

Very nice.  I could never imagine anywhere other than Britain coming up with a Superfreighter.  Sort of the Austin Maxi of the aviation world! ;D ;D

And the Skyvan was the Mini!  Nice conversion job Robert, I've always liked the Freighter series.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Very nice!  I've often thought of whiffing one of those into a Selfridge based cargo hauler, but my model building ADHD keeps getting in the way.
