Very interesting model indeed. I share B777LR's point of view, but I would delete cowling guns and move them to the wings instead. I would take the Me-109 nose and underwing radiators. Wooksta is right in the rear view  issue. I also think that classic landing gear is OK (but tricycle is cool  , I accept)
Anyway, read arrow jag, this is your model and I love it so far

So much for some building today...  I am trying to get some sort of 're-engining' sorted out (that's very bad English...!) and can't really progress as fast a I would have liked.  Cockpit is finished, very basic sidewalls, panel and seat, not ,much can be seen through the small canopy anyway.  I have deleted the rear windows behind the canopy, It makes for a more compact office and looks better I feel.

Going through the different engine options, I have found the rather sexy Focke-Wulf single seat fighter project which used the BMW 802 radial engine.  Now this really would look the part, I love the streamlined spinner but I am unsure how to make the modification, what could I get hold off to make such a look? I am experimenting with Lightning old jetpipes at the moment...I will most probably use the FW project spinner configuration with an inline engine as  I means I get to keep the exhausts on the side of the nose, which I personally like.

I know absolutely squat about German aircraft, but watching you work this is fun!

Very cool, especially with tri-gear.  All you need now is a T-Tail.

Thanks for the idea!

Gentlemen, perfection has been achieved.  Is it wrong/sinful for me to covet the model of another?

Got a little more done this afternoon... The existing nose has been removed and after an unsuccessful attempt at lengthening the nose area by copious amounts of filler and sanding, I gave up and brought myself a BF109 for cheap to use the Damlier-Benz engine nose.

the nose wheel bay has been cut away from the DB nose.

So, Its going to have DB engine, at last I have finally settled on a power plant. The DB628-1 an entirely fictitious version of the DB628 which was to be used in the Messerschmitt high altitude fighter concept below.

note the streamlined nose cone again as seen on the FW altitude design!  I have finished my version of this, photos soon.

Nose attached, awaiting glue to dry.....

Looks great!

How come everybody else can make filling large holes look so easy? I really need to master this.

Due to me having a few more projects on the go that are keeping me from completing the He100

I am offering it for sale         Anyone interested?

As you can see from the photos it is partially build, those who have been following the build will be aware of the concept.  I also have an interesting Luftwaffe decal sheet to accompany the model.

It would be nice to see it go to a keen whiffer for completion.

Cheers!   ;D

I sent you a PM.  Wouldn't need the Luft markings as it would end up in leafy roundels (see what you'd be getting into????)

Just received the model-in-progress last week: am hoping to do justice to red arrow jag's concept with a suitable finish and some landing gear.  But I forgot just how small 1:72 a/c really are!
