What everybody doesn't know is that in his other life Eddie decorates cakes down at his local grocery store. He specializes in birthday cakes for five year old boys, complete with little tanks and army men on top. His best effort was in recreating the Israeli storming of the Golan Heights; that sucker was three feet tall.

How did you find out? I usually work the graveyard shift, away from prying eyes.;) :D

And Eddie claimed all along that it was his WIFE that was opening the cake/craft shop!  Should've known...

Eddie, I think the bird will look fantastic in "slick" configuration.  In addition, if most of your other builds have ordnance hanging on, the variety alone will be a bonus.

I'm still doing the  :banghead: dance over this one.  Someday, when we have enough members who are comfortable sawing into styrene, we should have a group build where we each reproduce one of your cool concepts in various schemes.  Model clubs and SIGs do it with all the popular Spits and FWs, maybe it's time to do the same treatment using an "Eddie Original" design as the subject model.
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

You're much too kind to suggest such a thing.

Here's a dimly lit, secretive photo of the decal work. I can't show much without spoiling the rollout. ;D

Yowsa Eddie that's one wicked, sleek, mean machine! I love your choice of a gloss black finish which is awesome against those red stars and the way the nose curves makes it look like a predator ready to chow on some prey!

Outstanding!!!

Well you were right (never doubted for a minute). This is far too cool to mess up the lines with droptanks, missles or bombs. Just sitting there it is sleek and fast and sexy looking. I do believe I am in LOVE!!!

Not so much Frakenstein Eddie, as Bride of Frankenstein!  Strange looking, but very alluring at the same time!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thank Guys very much! For some reason, this one kinda just fell together. Now on to try and finsh Ayegor.....

Wow. Just WOW. That thing looks fast! Like the fuzzy bunny offspring of a Flanker and Starfighter. Those huge engines and intakes are scary, and the whole thing looks frankly naughty in that gloss black finish.

What I love about this build is not the bash. Cause you have done that before, and thrilled an entertained us, but the fact that you painted it gloss black

This is the one colour that will show any blemish and inperfection. And I can't see any!!!!!!

Fantastic work mate

Just a question did you paint the gloss black from an airbrush or a rattle can?
Get this Cheese to sick bay!

I am in awe...  If I ever felt compelled to hand my models in for knitting needles, now would be the time.

Thank you once again Gents!

Sisko,
Thanks. I spent a lot of time trying to remove any imperfections and it seems to have worked out well. I used rattle cans and Testors Super Duper high gloss in a can for the finish.

SWEET.  The gloss black finish really makes it look sinister.  (The Darth Vader of jet fighters....)

Good job Eddie.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.
