Wow I love the look of this bird, Eddie! It reminds me of something...

Wait, I've got the perfect name for it: the Pterodactyl!

Suggestion time Eddie!  Looking at the cranked shape you have for the vertical stabs, if you stuck them on horizontally you'd have a semi-tailess layout like the McDD JAST entry.
Another idea is that your layout seems to lend itself to canards, maybe with a delta?   With the layout you've got there'd be a similarity to the Su-35?

Those are very cool pix! I'm thinking I want to go with an older look, like back in the days when they made airplanes out of metal LOL! I have some canards cut out of Tomcat vert. stabs., but I may not use them. i do see a SU-35 comparison and actually do have some Red Star decals.;) I'm rather fond of the needle nose lines. My original idea for this was one of the X-planes (X-3?), but on the juice, if you get mydrift. ;D It's still very early, and as you all know, things do change.

I'm taking this one seriously! I'm using an A-10 tub with a I.P. of unknown origins. Lining the 'pit walls will bits of F-14 I.P. ;D

Don't  ;D forget  ;D the  ;D NOSEWEIGHT!  :banghead:
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

More progress. The cockpit is done ( minus the wiring). I used a bit of the nose gear well from the everlasting KC-135 and mated it with the one from Showtime 100. I had to chop it for proper fit. Things are tight up front, so the nose gear will articulate a la the B-58. ;D

Some work to report. Mainly cleaning up the rough edges so it all will fit together, nice and neat. I covered the bottom to try and hide some of the Tomcat influence. ;D Plus, I shortened it up a bit.

I've had a voice tell me to try something else that might be more striking. Mock up soon...... ;D

Well, folks, as great as this looked at the start, if the voices are speaking I'd bet we're all in for a super build here. Eddie's voices are famous here, and when they speak Eddie listens... and then comes up with some fantastic creations. So let's pull our seatbelts up tight and settle back for the ride.

The new direction (I hope). I see it as a modern day F-104. Maybe the F-208? ;D

It...has...a...T-Tail...now.

I need a cigarette.

Beautiful, Eddie.  Very robust now.  But there goes my idea for a twin-enginned Starfighter!

Absolutely crackerjack, Mr Miller! It looks like a forerunner to the Starfighter! For some reason I can't help imagining this one as a Navy bird in overall gloss blue with a tailhook, circa 1951 Korea.

Weirdly wicked or wickedly weird!
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

No... just our Eddie hearing voices. Lovely, lilting, enchanting voices that guide him in his madness. When he has his mojo goin' it's a symphony in styrene.

Thank very kindly Gents! Now comes the boring work, although my daughter has taken a liking to wet sanding.
