Barry you've NO IDEA how easy this thing falls together, really it's easier than a SnapFix !

All major building finished, so here's the last shot you'll see of it looking 'clean'. Off to the paint shed later to get 'pre-shaded'.

And an hour later it looks like this:-

pardon me ian but why do those airbrakes look purple? maskol?

Keeper of George the Cat.

Ian the Kiwi Herder

Yep, Trev, that's Maskol. Didn't need the hassle of masking off around the recesses after painting the camouflage and spraying the Duralumin.

And here's the progress on the Meteor. Two-and-a-half thin coats of Xtracolour Azure Blue - with a few drops of Humbrol Satin White and Lt Gull Grey to take the edge of what is quite a 'vibrant' colour. The pre-shading has bled through nicely - almost as if I meant it

Really pleased with the effect looks like it's had a 'hard day at the office' already !; unlike the Tiffie which is going to look quite fresh when it's done, just a few trips under its' belt.

Thanks for looking. As ever all comments and questions are welcomed, all criticism will be treated with complete contempt  ;D

Good job with the preshading.  It doesn't look garish or overdone.  Should make a nice model when it's done.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.
