Northrop-Grumman F-24

2008.The RAF decides it needs to replace the second hand LM F-16,s it bought in 2003/4.
After evaluating a number of contenders the very advanced  Northrop-Grumman F-24 is chosen.
The first RAF squadron to form on the type is 111 and to commemeorate they give the first aircraft a special paint scheme.
In RAF service the aircraft becomes, Tempest F1 and is armed with advanced BAe SRAAM,AMRRAM  and Meteor.

I did a twin tailed RAf F-29 a few years ago in green camo, but I must say I think it looks better in gray with the black tail.
