For the Junkyard GB, I started out with one plane, but now I've got two, so I thought I'd bring them out of the shadows in this forum as well and will post updates as they come around.

I love the bottom one.

The top one........I dunno the wings are to fat and squat for such a graceful fuselage.
Get this Cheese to sick bay!

The top one is ok but I really like what the bottom one might turn out as. Looks the biz.

the second one is the better eddie.

and will look better still with a bit more span between the engine pods and the wing roots.

i am thinking its meant to be a recce aircraft in the same class as the RF-101 or were you thinking attack?

Thank you all! I guess I will go ahead and build the second one, alone with the 1st, code name Ayegor ;)

Trevor,
I literally came up with this idea in about an hour. All I really wanted was a way to used the Tomcat nose ( the F-14 wings were a bonus) and F-4 bits. The tail section is an inverted A-10 tail and the engines are from the long ago butchered KC-135. I took the idea of that squatty Russian attack plane (SU-25?) and went from there, although, to me, it's got more of an A-6 feel now. Who knew? I'll build it anyway. ;D

ok eddie. if the second one inspires thoughts of the A-6 then can i suggest some suitably bright 1970's A-6
markings. there are too many sqns to chose from but VA-34/42/52/128 could all be possibly especially VA-52
with that knight's helmet ala the fujimi A-6A kit in 1/72.

best of luck.

I've come to a fork in the road with Ayegor. It's going to be difficult to go with engines in the fuselage, so I'm making plans to close up the intakes on the fuselage and go with the engines on the wings. :banghead:   :drink:
