  brilliant lenny!

beat me to it by a country mile.

my HP111 will have to be in a 1960's livery then.

look forward to seeing this one for real, perhaps at the SIG meet elseways at SMW2008.

Being just a Texas hick I have no idea what all the references to ya'lls British? x-planes are but that stands alone as a very cool build.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

May i recommend the Secret Projects series of books. Ive got the Soviet Fighters from 1946-1989 (or something like that), and the British Fighters from 1950, and they are great! Theres a bunch of more subjects the series covers.

Thank's ,I love odd reference material! I got the idea for the P-55 F from U.S. Fighters.

Lenny got his inspiration from this post :-

But theres plenty of reference matterial in the Alt History and profiles sections of the website.
SecretProjects forum (link bookmarked in links section) is a treasuretrove of inspiration from real projects
