Get this Cheese to sick bay!

Can you imagine if a tired pilot brought one of these babies after a long night mission and forgot to retract the ventral gun assembly????   :o   Or will it clear the deck when the landing gear are down?

THis is just a fantastic project, Sotoolslinger - credible and yet the gun (sorry, The Gun) in particular gives it an almost Hollywood/cartoon-strip exaggerated feel: like something Juan Gimenez (sp?) would draw....

You can see it doing a fast pass on some little smugging sampan whose crew are struggling to get a .303 MG mounted and into action.

"Hey", says the rookie observer, "they've got a gun!"

"Nah, that's not a gun..." says Pilot Officer Hogan, pulling around for another pass, "THIS is a gun........"

Looks good.  That is one big impressive beast with a big impressive gun.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Yeah, we used something like that to pick off water buffalo in Nam, out the side of an old C-119.

Well it's about time... I thought this was turning into another Morsair, or Aygore, or twin Jugs build. Kick back, catch your breath, but two beers is the limit for now.

Sotool, I've been silently watching this build.

It really is an inspiring piece of whiffery, and the level of detail you put in it is incredible.

The paintjob looks very impressive, as is the gun mounted in the weapons bay.

All in all, a winner!!
