when you look up "Warplane" in the dictionary, It should have this aircraft pictured.

Ben

Yea, what Ben just said!!!

This is the most impressive take of the last ones. Makes me imagine it on on an end-run against a determined defender in an strenghtened position in the jungle. Photographed for posterity from an accompanying attacker.

Or, if you're on the cheap as I am, I found that the hardware store sells the clear rods for opening and closing blinds. They work in a pinch. ;D

Hey Ron, how's this for a tribute build?

I couldn't figure out what you used for the tails, so I'm using a E-2 Hawkeye's with the paint still on them.
What is the nose ball turret from?

Hmmm... I love oldschool style bombers  maybe I'll make one, if I have time... Keep goin'! :)

sotoolslinger

The engine naccells and the tail planes are from the Grumman P-50.The turret in the nose is the original tailgunners turret from the Avenger with a 20 mm cannon
I am sincerely honored ;D
If you really want to play around ,I have a follow up planned ......Helldiver with F7F TIGERCAT engines with a 75 mm in the nose instead of the turret
