Here is something I`m working on for a Soviet  vs N.A.T.O. 1960s campaign in Spitzbergan.

Loosley based around the old  " Night Witches " of wwii but updated and of course this is the area of the midnight sun !!!

i'm not sure what to say.

is it a permanment biplane or a slip-wing in the same manner as the hurricane variant was?

either way its different in a very good sort of way!

my original idea was for a slip wing thing but when i saw it made up i decided it just had to be full time.

I`m going to scribe on a side opening door soon, but it is just a cute little thing and it has red stars

Spats would've been a wonderful addition!

I like this one a lot! It reminds me of a jet-powered Antonov "Colt".

Great work!

I love this thing, just as it is.  I wouldn't add anything, except maybe additional weaponry in the wings. . .

I've wanted to do a bipe jet myself, though mine was going to be RN and straight wing.

I love it! Very Soviet.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

A biplane jet. I thought I was a nut! ;D ;D

I agree completely. Definitely one for the "why-didn't-I-think-of-that" file and very reminiscent of the (piston engined) biplane MiG PBSh-2 project of 1940.

Biplane jets.  Surely they have to catch on sometime soon?? ;D ;D

I read some time ago in a Salamander boook titled "Fighters of the XXI Century", that a biplane or even triplane jet would be the ultimate dogfighter due to its low speed manoeuvrability, but noone had dared to propose such a design.
