I guess I'll enter to builds for this GB. :o Ayegor is made from (so far) parts belonging to the F-4/5/14/15, A-10, KC-135 and 747. This makes for a very strange bedfellow. Walk this way.......

The original concept

The mods to delete the engines in the fuselage.

At first I was a little sad you were getting rid of the side engines, but now I think I'm beginning to see the concept and it looks like the voices are speaking to you. This one's gonna be fun to watch!

That is just amazing, Eddie.  I mean, the way you think in 3D and can carve and rework.  Simply magic.  You should see how I stress over the slightest cuts in styrene.  And you, you just surge forward and hack like a styrene gladiator and wind up with absolute works of art.  Okay, I'm calming down now...
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

So Eddie, six engines now become four engines? Well, that leaves more room for fuel, but cuts your lift weight on load out. What is the expected mission for the beast? I can't believe you had it constructed that far and now are making another major design change. Takes guts or brains or pleanty of other anatomical parts to be this daring.
I'm lovin' this man. Keep listening to those voices.

BdaB and Jeff,
I think I've found a way to keep the engines in the fuselage. Photos later....

I liked the Ayegor when it was originally posted  and I'm pleased that it's has been given its own thread. But stick with the 4 engined version - the fuselage fairings give it a more thuggish and convincing look  Although I suppose that you could always put the two fuselage engines Blinder-style on either side of the fin - - -  ;D

Awwww....I liked the podded engines under the wings.  Gave it a nostalgic, early-jets flavor and made it more unique, IMHO.

But, it's your fantastic model, Eddie.

Looks good.  I have to agree that I like it better with 4 engines.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Thank you all! I'll be hanging the 4 engines, thus keeping all 6 . The thing that was hampering me was my single mind set of always having to have afterburning engines. That has changed. Something with a little different is in store ;D

I'm glad you've decided to keep all six engines, Eddie! There's something so cool about birds withsix engines. Wish there were more of them!

Very much looking forward to your next update,

These pieces came from a Hornet, Tomcat and the unknown donor.

And the surprise. Louvers.  ;D

You know, watching an in-progress build from Eddie is, if nothing else, an exercise in mis-direction. I mean, 2 engines, 6 engines, 4 engines... no wait make it 6 engines.  I don't think we can take anything as "gospel" until it is painted, decalled, and sitting on the shelf. It kinda reminds me of the tv show "LOST". Now, I have watched that show since it began; and I swear I haven't got it figured out yet. But I keep comming back for the next episode because I just know I'm gonna get all my questions asnwered. And what the hey, if not at least I'll enjoy the latest installment. Hang in there Eddie, I still have faith in you man!!!

Thanks Jeff.

I love LOST ! I wish I was as clever as those guys, but alas my progress is made through trail and lots of error.
