You know, watching an in-progress build from Eddie is, if nothing else, an exercise in mis-direction. I mean, 2 engines, 6 engines, 4 engines... no wait make it 6 engines.  I don't think we can take anything as "gospel" until it is painted, decalled, and sitting on the shelf. It kinda reminds me of the tv show "LOST". Now, I have watched that show since it began; and I swear I haven't got it figured out yet. But I keep comming back for the next episode because I just know I'm gonna get all my questions asnwered. And what the hey, if not at least I'll enjoy the latest installment. Hang in there Eddie, I still have faith in you man!!!

And, even when it's done, he might later bash it into something else!

I haven't been in the building mood lately, but did manage to put the engines together on a pylon, which I will chop down further for installation.

I'm really glad you decided to keep all the engines. I just love the anachronism of the jet-pods next to those huge engines on the side of the fuse! Chopping the jet-pods down a bit will make it look built for speed!

Now that this project has got my attention, I'm find a few problems I need to deal with, like having main landing gear There's going to be a few changes, as the voices dictate, of course.

Could you build out some bulges using fueltank halves for semi-sponsons off the lower edges of the nacelles?

Maybe require a little "fudge" factor but, what the heck: gear's gotta retract somewhere, right?

Funny you should bring this one back into the light of day. I had been going through my usual black cloud depression of after completion blues when A little voice said,"The Whale!" The All Three Dead (A-3D) has a landing gear that is close to the fuselage and I thought I'd go for a similar look, considering all the junk that will be hanging from the wings. The gear and wells are from a F-117.
