Back when they were dirt-cheap, I grabbed some of the 1:48 ones when they came out-----should have doubled my order as they (appear to be) are fantastic on the sprues.  If they simply scaled down that kit's master-molds, you'll not be disappointed.

Any idea on Whiffing potential or will you build "real" subject(s)?

Perhaps replace the big avenger *ghasp* with a chin turret for a dedicated COIN plane.


Nah. A warthog without the bigass gatling is just a pig.

Mabye add a trainable gun-turret-pod.

Except they have done it as buildable version of thier ready mades, but charged at the same rate as thier decent kits like the Corsair

Well, a few USAF birds (JAWS scheme, modded euro-1), USMC, IDAF. . .
At this point I could care less about the condition of the kit, it's a N/AW & more readily avalible than the Maintrack conversion kit.
