I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I have to admit I was sceptical of how good it would look when I saw the drawings, but now seeing pics of the real deal finished, I have to say its better looking than I might have imagined.

Wicked!!!  Just proves that the airforces should do more commemorative schemes - especially as some approach their 100 year anniversaries.

That is inf*******g credibly beautiful. Love it!!

That cammo scheme seriously needs to be re-introduced to all tactical RAF machines. Imagine the Harrier force all dressed like that. Hmmm there is an idea

Odd, the scheme makes the Hawk appear more organic, more porpoise like.
Which is not a bad thing.  ;D

Just noticed the way the pilots of the Hawk are focusing on the Spit in photo 1. Obviously feel the same way about her as I do  ;D

This is now my screensave and I've sent off for the calendar - thanks for the link

Well, the backseater has a camera, and the pilot is doing what you do in close formation flying - keep your eye on the lead at all times.  If he flies into the ground, you fly into the ground ;)

Are you sure he's not on the phone.

I agree with Narses - I'm in love!!! Those air to air shots are seriously wood inducing!! Magnificent!

One could almost imagine it now -at the height of the Battle of Britain, the RAF suddenly took the upper hand when it introduced the first of it's new jet Hawk fighters...
