Whilst finishing a project the other day I realised the chaotic state of my modelling area was effecting the quality of my work (and it needs all the help it can get). So much muck and dust around it was effecting the paint finishes. Plus I could never find anything.

So I took the plunge and cleaned it all up  :o Even sorted all my paints out and put them in separate containers marked - RAF, Italian, French etc  :o :o

Anyways here is a probably neber to be seen site again - a clean Edwards work area - so now there's two, mine and IHG's  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

 :o :o

I'm about to set my hobby room up too, I wonder how long I can keep it pristine like this.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

last time i tidyed mine up, it lasted all of a few hours
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Careful!!   The Missus will find that place as *yet another* place to stack stuff.    Hurry and dirty it up a bit!!!!!!!   (urgent-faced emoticon)

You fool! You know that when a modeler's mess is not more he dies! It's just like building everything in your stash! ;D

you really do have to do something with that wallpaper, chris!

hide it and fast!  ;D

still i too find occasionally clearing up the bench works wonders. you find small bits of styrene
you had quite forgotten and discover you actually needed three months back.

Nice clean tidy work area and oh look, a space and shelf for everything.

Yeah sorry but it won't last. ;D

I don't know what it is but you can have a modelling desk that has an area of several square kilometres, but you will end up working in an area no bigger than the actual model being worked on.

Well... I shouldn't give you schtick... I just cleaned mine this arvo. However, knowing that a clean workbench would porbably cause my premature death (just like finishing everything in my stash...) I cunningly didn't clean the shelves above it!

I just couldn't work in all that clutter !
