I've been here a while but never posted anything so I decided to post something.
First is a 1/48 F-104 that I messed around with a couple years ago. It has a SR 71 tail and it was my first whiff!

Then there is a 1/72 Vultee Vengeance that didn't come with any decals so I made it into some kind of racer. This was a couple years ago too, back when I was a sophomore in high school.

The propeller is from a 1/48 Corsair

(311 is one of my favorite bands so that explains the number)

Finally, the junkyard build inspired me to try and build something from my spares box but there isn't much there to work with

and this is what I have so far. It's 1/48 drop tank with a 1/72 bf 109 tail and 1/48 spitfire wingtips. I'm not sure what to do with it!

Thanks for looooooking ;D

Welcome to What-If, Animorphy! That's one fine introduction! I really like your models, especially what you've done with the Vengeance. The paintwork is very cool! I think you're off to a nice start on the drop-tank project too. I think those kind of projects are the most fun.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Looks like you're going to fit in here starting immediately. Welcome to the nuthouse!

Oh, the obligatory questions:

Are you Canadian?

If not, why not?

What beer do you drink?

Can you send me money, preferably small bills?

I think that takes care of everything.

Love your Starfighter.  Looks like something out of a classic 1950s comic book.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

I recognize that drop tank.  It escaped from a Monogram MiG-29 kit where it was nothing like the real tank.  One of the first things to get discarded from that kit and relegated to the spares box.  I suspect you actually used two of the lower halves for this creation since the tank was molded as a top and bottom half with a large pylon featured on the top half of the tank.

Welcome aboard! Looks like you hit the ground running.

The Vultee is sweet, but the Starfighter is KILLER! Are those B-29 tires on the F-104?

Loving the red trim on that Starfighter. It sets off the silver perfectly. The Vengeance is cool - the colour scheme is good, and it's packing some serious firepower for a "racer"!  :o

That drop-tank build is looking interesting - some sort of early cruise missile/glider bomb? The wing shape is really cool.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Welcome to insanity.  Nice models.  The scratchbuild with the fuel tank definitely has some potential.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Nice stuff Ani,

Some imaginative use of parts & kits there for sure.

Welcome aboard.

The wheels on the F-104 are from a monogram P-38 and the drop tank is actually from a hobbycraft F8F I think

Thanks for the comments  ;D

Isn't that an oxymoron? Just kidding! I don't either because I drank my life's quota in my first 35 years.
